Experience makes a character more powerful. This means more spells points, more health points, and other good things. The quest for experience is a key part of this game. Experience is obtained by killing monsters, but only takes effect after you stay at an Inn.

Different characters have different capabilities. If this is your first time playing, you should probably select the race ogre and the class fighter.
