The game has been designed to resemble a game of Chess, with each piece replaced by a character from Star wars. All the important characters from Star Wars are represented in this game, like Luke Skywalker as King, Princess Leia as Queen, C-3PO, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Yoda, and R2-D2 in other important roles.

In this version of chess the normal chess pieces are replaced by characters from the Star Wars universe. In the game to make things more interesting when a piece is taken the game shows an animated fight, just like in Battle Chess.
