The goal is to kill as many dinosaurs as possible while avoiding traps and water bodies. There are also several bonus objects along the way which can earn the player bonus points and extra lives. One of these bonus objects is a huge iron ball that takes 1 hit to break.

However, these are not ordinary animals, they all have superpowers and unique abilities. As a team, they fight off the various enemies enroute to India.

The game starts with the player trying to find an opening to a cave in the moon. The player will be piloting an aircraft as he maneuvers his way through the moon´s atmosphere which is filled with bugs of all shapes and sizes. Once he finds the opening he is to then pass through the cave which is filled with bombs and other obstacles like laser barriers.

Is basically a a shooting game that asks the players to shoot down enemy personals as well as to destroy other targets. The game was one of the first games to display shadow which marked its design improvement prospect.

The player controls Sou as he advances through linear stages, fighting enemies in his way. Sou is armed with a sword and can jump and duck as well. The game has beat-em-up elements in that it only allows the player character to advance to the next segment of the area if all the enemies have been defeated. Ranged weapons come in limited quantities and must be picked up in the stages. Most of the enemies in the game are cyborgs, robots, and machines.
