The Last Knight

The Last Knight is a fantasy action game that was released in 1997. It was developed by Island Dream - Games & Soft. The game is set in the fantasy land of Farhun. In Farhun, there is an Archipelago, named Sodar, which has been captured by an evil dragon called Fasthar. Fasthar nurtures a deep grudge against humans owing to a cruel war that was fought between humans and Dragons, where all the dragons were killed, except for him. Fasthar then defeats the humans and takes over Sodar, naming one of the islands after himself. He then unleashes a reign of terror over the islands, especially on the humans. He starts the practice of human sacrifice every solstice and kills every human being that dares to venture towards the islands. A gallant Knight is mankind's only hope of getting rid of the tyranny of Fasthar and reclaiming Sodar.
The player takes control of the Knight and must fight his enemies to advance toward the island of Fasthar. To defeat his enemies the player needs to jump over their heads. The player is also equipped with other weapons such as daggers. Apart from fighting enemies, the player also needs to collect keys that are floating in the air, to unlock chests containing valuable items. After collecting a sufficient number of keys, the player gets his Knight's armor, however every time he comes in contact with an enemy, he loses a piece of his armor. There are three kinds of keys for the player to collect-Gold, Silver and Bronze, each required to open a specific chest. The ALT key is for Jumping, CTRL is for Firing, and the arrow keys are for moving left, right, up, and down.
