The plot of the game is similar to a movie of the same name, that released in 1993. The player assumes the role of a cyborg police officer who challenges a big corporation, which is trying to tear down the American city of Detroit to build a new one called Delta city. Robocop must prevent the citizens of Detroit from being driven out of their city.

This is a side-scrolling game. The game has different levels where Roboman has to jump around and burst the balloons by touching it. This game is one of the fine examples of the collect-things-and-find-the-exit genre, pretty much similar to Lode runner.

There are a total of 32 levels in the game, all having similar gameplay. The player needs to control the ball so as to avoid collision with other objects, prevent it from falling off the platform and also save it from getting caught in the traps placed around the maze.

Your goal is to collect the marble and the gold so that you can easily make your exit from the first level. The difficulty of this game increases with the level and you need to end the game to defeat the evil scientist and rescue your player.

Your team consists of four members, each with his own function. The Point Man leads the way to the objective, keeping an eye out for enemies, gives the orders, and covers the Officer in Charge; the Officer in Charge watches the Point Man’s back and performs searches; the Corpsman covers the Rear Security officer, performs searches, and performs medic duties, and Rear Security covers the team’s rear.
