2400 AD is a role-playing game, which was released in the year 1987 for Apple II and MS-DOS platforms. The game consists of a top-down view.
In the game 2400 AD, the player is a part of a subterranean resistance association who are on a quest to save the human population of XK 120 planet. The humans inhabiting XK 120 planet are under the slavery of Tzorgs. Tzorgs is an advanced community of aliens who enslave humans. Therefore, the player needs to save humans from the rule of the community of aliens.
In the RPG, the player renders the character of a common citizen living in the future town o Metropolis. The town of Metropolis is a big town which has numerous streets, buildings, and numerous people. The town of Metropolis is under the control of the community of aliens. The aliens use robots to authorize the town and control the people. Moreover, the player being a member of the subterranean resistance association is thinking of a firm plan to subdue the robots and to defeat the community of the aliens. However, the player needs to be very careful as he should not be exposed. Also, the player has to carry out his plan secretly and make sure that he does not get captured by the army of robots. For instance, if the player gets caught, he would be imprisoned.
Furthermore, there are several commands such as talk, open, search, etc. which the player can use to interact in the game. The commands can be executed by hitting the correlated key of the keyboard. Along with this, the player can fight with the aliens and the robots by using several weapons.
