Description
Moebius: The Orb of Celestial Harmony is an influential role-playing game originally created by Greg Malone and published by
ORIGIN Systems, Inc. First released for the Apple II in 1985 (and ported to MS-DOS, Commodore 64, Atari ST, and Amiga shortly after), it stands
out as one of ORIGIN's most unique releases alongside their famous Ultima series.
Unlike most Western CRPGs of the mid-1980s that focused on high-fantasy European settings (orcs, knights, castles), Moebius was heavily inspired
by East Asian folklore and martial arts philosophy.
The peaceful realm of Khantala has fallen into chaos after the evil warlord Krell stole the Orb of Celestial Harmony. You play as a disciple
trained by the grandmaster Moebius. You are tasked with traveling through four elemental realms (Earth, Water, Air, Fire), defeating
Krell's minions, rescuing the kidnapped monk, and recovering the Orb.
