In yet another real-time strategy game of Powermonger, gamers get to take up the role of a divine commander who saves the world from destruction.
The land is devasted by an earthquake and your mission as a player is to find a new land for your people. You travel across the ocean to a new territory which is rich in nature only to know that you are not alone there. The land is intersected with other 195 territory and you need to conquer each to make yourself the only king. The player has to fight the red, blue and yellow tribe which is against him while leading the white tribe. You need to strategize carefully, arrange for food, shelter and only once you have captured 2/3rd of a territory you can proceed for the next one.
The player can take the help of the map on the left side of the screen to know more about the topography, food settlements to aid as the help to strategize attacks. The buttons underneath the map are used to give orders. The gamer can control the game using keyboard and mouse.
With its power packed concept and enthralling gameplay, Powermonger offers the gamers a detailed and diverse platform for gamers to explore.
Founded in 1987 by Les Edgar and Peter Molyneux, Bullfrog was created as a small group of like-minded game enthusiasts aiming to produce original computer games that offered something a little more cerebral and challenging than many of the simplistic arcade style games available at the time. The studio was acquired by Electronic Arts, Bullfrog's publisher in January 1995.
