Simis Limited was a development studio especially known for its flight simulator games. It was founded in 1989 by Jonathan Newth and Ian Baverstock and acquired by Eidos in 1995.
In March 1998 there was a management buyout of the company which led to the formation of Kuju Entertainment. Kuju was originally an offshoot umbrella brand, that housed Simis as a flightsim brand. Later the company fully dissolved into Kuju.

Description
As you peer beyond the cockpit canopy at a flight deck far too short for any normal jet, the huge RollsRoyce
turbofans scream in your ears. And suddently, you're lifted straight up into the sky - like a helicopter.
Push the nozzle control lever to change the engines's thrust from downward to back, and you're hurtling forward through the air.
This is no ordinary aircraft. It can literally turn on a dime and stop in midair - technically known as Vectoring in Forward Flight.
