Description
Caesar II is a game set in the time of Caesar's reign in Rome. As a player, you start off with a single province. You need to build this area into an efficient and prosperous city. You manage the education, water supply, entertainment, military, temples, baths etc., during the game you will have to defend the city from foreign invasions, make rodes etc., Once you have succeeded in attaining a certain level of efficiency, you are allowed to start over in a new province that is even more challenging than the previous one, and this goes on until you have administration over all of Greece, and you become the next Caesar.
In Caesar II apart from giving you a great variety of tasks to accomplish with its multitude of things you have to look after in a town, the graphics of the game is very rich. You get to see the citizens of your province go about their daily routines wandering the street, etc. You get to interact with these citizens on their thoughts, what they do and even information on where they are going. This makes the citizens look even more realistic and the digital city feels more like virtual reality. Once the city becomes richer, you get to build colosseums and race tracks for chariots, etc. This game you can play in two different modes, either city building mode or a campaign mode.
