The Lost Crown of Queen Anne

Developed by:
Softdisk, Inc.
Softdisk was a publisher of "disk magazines" -- magazines distributed on disk, with programs, interviews, advertisements, etc. They were very popular from the 1980s until the mid 1990s, when the World Wide Web explosion changed the computer into a true consumer device. The programs were sometimes helpful utilities, but were mostly games you could play. Softdisk acted as a game publisher, and paid authors for their work.

Description

Queen Anne's crown vanished back in the 1700's. It later resurfaced in the hands of an Arab sheik. Now, it's lost once again, and you have gone into the desert to find it. But your food has run out, and you're getting thirsty, too...
You pursue your quest for this treasure using normal adventure-game commands, like "GO NORTH" and "DRINK WATER." To help you, on-screen help is always visible, including a list of valid commands and information about where you are and what is visible.
