Sherman M-4 is a Tank Simulation game developed by Loriciels. It was released in the year 1989. This game was released in DOS Platform and it was first released in the United Kingdom.
This game is set in the time of World War 2, this game is fairly good relating to its theme. The game gives you to select campaigns from playing in Normandy, Ardennes, and North Africa. Just like the other Tank simulator you have control over multiple tanks, i.e. up to 4 tanks.
The game gives you 6 options to choose from.
1. View of the Sherman – The game gives you an inside view of Sherman M-4 tank. The inside of the Cockpit, it shows the gunsight, the gas level, compass, the ammunition gauge, and the tank ID. It shows the details of the Sherman M-4
2. View of the enemy – The Panzer tanks of the Russian Army. The date of the first year of service, the maximum speed of the tank, weight, length, width, and canon.
3. Demo Mode – In this demo mode you get to play the Sherman and the panzer for a short period to get the basics of the game.
4. Normandy Campaign – Normandy campaign you get to play through the side of the allied forces. In the Normandy Campaign, you have to destroy the enemy bunkers and capture their camps. Similarly, there are 2 more campaign mode, namely Ardennes and the Desert Campaign.
The game has realism setting where you have the option to have either select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ in things like “unlimited Ammunition”, “Unlimited Fuel’’.
Sherman M-4 is a pretty good game when it comes to tank simulation games.
