Milestone s.r.l.
Milestone is an Italian development company founded in Milan in 1994 by Antonio Farina. Originally called Graffiti, the company name was changed to Milestone in 1996. Under the name Graffiti the company developed three games: Super Loopz (1994), Iron Assault (1995) and Screamer (1995). Screamer started the company's exclusive focus on racing games, except for the 2003 licensed game show title L'eredità, The X Factor Sing (2005) and Australian Idol Sing (2005). The success of the Screamer arcade rally series made way for a partnership with Electronic Arts and it led to the development of three games in the EA Sports Superbike series released between 1999 and 2000.

Description

Screamer Rally is a DOS-based rally racing game released in 1997. It was developed by Milestone and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment. It's the third game in the "Screamer" series, shifting the focus from circuit racing (like its predecessors "Screamer" and "Screamer 2") to off-road rally racing.
The game offers an arcade-like experience rather than a hardcore simulation. Players can choose from four different rally cars, including two front-wheel drive and two 4x4 vehicles. Each car has distinct characteristics like acceleration, braking, and weight.
You can customize aspects of your car in a garage, including handling, tire type and pressure, front and rear suspensions, and brakes.
The game features seven tracks set in various international locations, such as China, Canada, Italy, Arizona, Sweden, and Wales, with an additional bonus course. Initially, only a few tracks are unlocked, and players need to progress through the championship mode to access the rest.
You race against five computer-controlled opponents. Includes single races, a championship mode (where you need to finish in the top 3 to progress), and likely time trials. Supports two-player split-screen racing on a single computer and network play for up to six players.
