Rockstar North, formerly known as DMA Design, was founded in 1988 by David Jones, Russell Kay, and Mike Dailly in Dundee, Scotland. The name DMA was taken from the Amiga programming manuals, where it stood for "Direct Memory Access". DMA Design was most known for developing Lemmings and early Grand Theft Auto games.

Description
The Lemmings of the Lemming Chronicles are little mythical creatures that are in the search of a new home. These are restless little buggers constantly in search of an exit. You need to make sure that you are able to get them across to an exit without letting them fall into pits or troubles. Since there are many lemmings, you will not be able to control them all, so you delegate. You make one lemming prevent the others from going over him, you make another dig holes and another build bridges and whatever it takes to get them all across safely. With the increase in levels, it becomes increasingly difficult and slightly frustrating to keep them safe.
The concept of Lemmings Chronicles is very simple, but the game is still very challenging to play. In this edition of the game, you have three types of Lemmings that you can save. The Classics, the Egyptians, and the Shadow tribes. This is another must-have for all the Lemmings fans. This version has 90 levels of gameplay and a few extra collectible bonus levels. Each level brings new imaginative and ingenious designs that will have you hooked to your monitor for months on end. The PC version of the game has a lot of enhanced video audio sequences that make the game a far more enjoyable experience.
