Description
Steeped in legends and mystery, Kings Table The Legend of Ragnarok is based on an ancient board game, The King's Table. Like chess, this game has dark and light pieces, but that is where the similarity ends. These pieces have different rules, different functions, and different gameplays. The game pieces are all based on the Norse Gods. The white team gets 13 pieces, Odin is the King, at the center of the Kings Table. The king's table is a 10 by 10 board arranged in the very same checker pattern as in a chess table. The black team has twenty pawns plus four additional special pieces. To capture a pawn it needs to be surrounded by two other opponents, some other higher power pieces need to be surrounded by three pieces. If Odin is surrounded by four of the opponent pieces the game is lost by the whites.
There are a few further intricate rules that are decided at the begining of the game. Kings Table The Legend of Ragnarok interprets this popular board game just like we would a game of Battle Chess. It has bold animations and abundance of 3-dimension graphics. The presentation of the game makes the settings beautiful and spoils you with its immense beauty and soundtracks. There are many amusing animation scenes that cut across serious scenes and help lighten up what would otherwise be a very heavy battle game.
