Jinxter

Set in the fictional country of Aquitania, the game Jinxter is a comedy science fantasy which is based in the early british colony. Jinxter was developed in the year 1988 by Magnetic Scrolls and subsequently published by RainBird Software. The wicked green witches have a new powerful leader by the name of Jannedor. She stole the bracelet of turani that prevented the witches from bringing havoc in the plains. She stripped the bracelet of its five magical charms and placed them in various locations in the plain which are well hid. She herself, wears the bracelet to make it weaker over time so that she can have full control over the plains. The guardian angels of Aquitania accidently chooses the player as the person who is going to defeat the evil witch and restore peace and harmony in the state. He along with his guardian angel goes on a mission to save his friend Xam who has been captured by the witch. After that he is to retrieve all the five charms of the bracelet and use it to kill Jannedor eventually which in turn will restore luck to the kingdom of Aquitania. The game is more or less dialogue based and the comic touch can be obviously felt while playing it. Players need to solve various puzzles within the game to proceed and also at times take help from other characters in the game.
