SNK (abbreviation of Shin Nihon Kikaku [新日本企画, "New Japan Project"]) is a hardware and software company based in Osaka, Japan. It is most known for its Neo Geo family of electronic game systems manufactured during the 1990's, as well as for arcade-style game series such as Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, The King of Fighters, and others.

Description
Guerrilla War (originally released in Japan as Guevara) is a classic overhead run-and-gun shooter developed and published by SNK Corporation in 1987.
Originally an arcade hit, it was subsequently ported to the IBM PC (MS-DOS), NES, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and Amstrad CPC.
The game is loosely based on the Cuban Revolution. Player 1 controls a character modeled after Che Guevara, while Player 2 controls Fidel Castro.
Players fight their way across a Caribbean island to overthrow an oppressive tyrannical dictator (a fictionalized version of Fulgencio Batista).
Due to political sensitivities, the Western versions removed explicit references to Guevara and Castro in the title and manual, re-branding them simply
as unnamed "guerrilla freedom fighters.
