David John Braben OBE FREng (born 2 January 1964) is an English video game developer and designer, founder and President of Frontier Developments, and co-creator of the Elite series of space trading video games, first published in 1984.
Ian Colin Graham Bell (born 31 October 1962 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire) programmed and designed the video game Elite (1984) with David Braben, which met with much acclaim.

Description
The universe and out of world activities have always intrigued gamers across the world. No wonder space trading games and sci-fi happens to be one of the most preferred games by video gamers across the globe. Adding to the series of space game genre, Elite brings in the freshness of space trading games adding a new dimension to the gameplay.
The game is set in space, wherein you as the player is required to trade things between planets. You are supposed to buy, sell and perform a lot of task for accumulating credit points. As the gamer, you play the role of Commander Jameson (although you can change the name after saving it). You start at Lave Station with a total of 100 credit points in your kitty, a minimally armed ship for trading and a Cobra Mark III. The player will constantly encounter other enemy ships which are named after various snakes and reptiles.
The player can earn money through asteroid mining, piracy, combating witch spaceships, bounty hunting in the bargain of which they can upgrade the ship with more refined weapons and ammunition. The spaceship has to be refueled from time to time or else will get caught in enemy ships. Beware while jumping between star systems of Thargoid or else the game will come to an end.
Elite is a fun-filled adventurous game wherein the gamer is constantly assisted with various means to trade in all eight galaxies together. So, don’t wait, tighten your seatbelts and trade.
