Description
Dig it is a platform video game, which was released in the year 1996. Pixels painters Corp. released the game for DOS platform. The game is full of action and adventures. The three-dimensional game consists of a side view perspective.
In the game Dig it, the player plays the character of Dug Kewl. One fine day when the character comes back to the home, he finds that someone has kidnapped his wife whose name is Dugette. He learns that it is the mischief of Chief Spurkasaur. Hence, the character sets himself on a mission to rescue his wife from the evil chief.
The character sets out in search of his wife and takes his drill machine and a gun with him. To save his wife from the evil chief, the character needs to go through several worlds. There are several stages in each of the worlds in the game. In all the stages, there are some spots which will be marked with the mark ‘X’. The character needs to find the spot marked with ‘X’ and dig the place to enter the next stage. However, the character can dig those places which are not marked as well which leads the player to some secret places. Those secret places contain plenty amount of jewels.
On his way on the mission, the character comes across several enemies such as dragons, hedgehogs, and huge snails. Also, the character fights with several monsters. Along with this, the character can collect the plenty amount of jewels on his way.
When the player finishes his traveling through the different worlds, he gets his wife back. However, the player will face several obstacles and enemies on his way.
