Description

Archon Ultra is the remake of the game Archon: the light and the dark. It is a battle game with the fighting sequences shown in an isometric perspective. The battlefield is set like a chess board but the game format is quite different. The game has single and multilevel player option while using a modem and each of the players have two special and unique abilities. Each of the soldiers or units have special weapons. Archon Ultra has an addictive gaming process. The new version of the game has added sound effects, music and much-improved graphics. A combination of arcade sequences and strategy gaming makes the game playable again and again. This game is best played in the two player mode with a partner. The movement and speed that the figures have, make it tough to hit opponents and additionally the bird's eye view gives the player a better idea about strategy like integrating chess into the game. This makes the game a combination of strategy and fighting. This makes the result of the game more unpredictable and fun to keep playing. The game is a very good upgrade on the former classic with added graphics and sound that brings the game up to the current standards without getting rid of the best part of the original. This is a game that both newcomers and old can appreciate.
