Magic and Mayhem

Games do allow many of us to live the life of a wizard, an adventurer and many more, where one can play the role of protagonist to save the world. Similar to other such games, Magic and Mayhem released in 1998, is a fantasy game which involves every element of adventure and thrill including a wizard, warriors, and their magic spell. The player plays the role of Cornelius, a magician whose only wish is to become his uncle’s apprentice. Soon after completing his studies he comes back to find his house in ruins. He gets on the mission to rescue his uncle from the captive of wizards taking along with him his uncle’s flying machine. On his way, the player has to defeat various enemy wizard by casting his spells which include summoning creature, interacting with another character. The player can choose from the list of spells from the sidebar using mana. The player can play the game in two modes i.e. them campaign mode, which is single player and quick battle mode which is deathmatch, The player can use his Portmanteau box to mix in the potions and cast spell which will last for one full battle. Combined with an excellent story, graphics and sound effect, Magic and Mayhem win in casting its magic spell on the players and keep them hooked to the screen throughout the game.
