Description
Want to escape reality and take care of someone else's life for a while? Jones in the Fast Lane is the game for you. You get to control the lives of one of the Jones. Choose which one you want and get going. What do you want in life: Money, Education, Career or happiness. This is board games made digital. The board is a representation of your city. Every turn that you have allows you to take a single decision for that week.
Initially, you need to earn some money, since you have zero knowledge and no education whatsoever, you need to get the lowest job on the totem pole. Later on, you can earn a degree, and start getting better jobs, better home, and better clothes.
Jones in the Fast Lane is like a role-playing game, except the role you play is that of a normal human being. You need to eat, rent or buy a house, invest or save your earnings in a bank. You cant keep the money on hand all the time, due to the propensity you have for getting pickpocketed. The game has pretty VGA and a lot of animation to make the gameplay interesting. The game is like a humorous satirical piece on the life in America with some funny scenarios and dialogues that make the game playable purely from an entertainment standpoint.
