Legend Entertainment Company was a Northern Virginia-based developer started in 1989 by Bob Bates and Mike Verdu. Their early games were illustrated text adventures. In 1993, they broke from the text tradition with Companions of Xanth which was their first game to feature a point-and-click interface.

Description
Where ends the first series, from there begins the ride to the next adventurous one. Gateway 2 Homeworld has much to provide to the gamers than its original with its heart touching storyline and much more adventure.
So, you are Fredrick Pohl’s, the hero who saved the world from doom in the prequel, now retired and owner of fifty million dollars is seen relaxing at his home without worries. But as it is said, being destiny’s chosen child, he is called to brief the ambassador who is set on a mission to investigate a certain spaceship considered to be an artifact called Heeche Spaceship which has landed on Pluto. While investigating, Fredrick is attacked by terrorists which leaves him no option but to enter the spaceship and set on the journey himself.
Here is where the adventure begins, where his work is to resurrect the wise man and prevent an intergalactic war from taking place. Gateway 2 Homeworld provides the player with more engrossing puzzles, high-tech gadgets, and intuition to defeat the enemies and turn victorious. An excellent addition to the sci-fi games, this game is a one-stop destination for players. Combined with breathtaking graphics, enticing storyline, and marvelously designed plots, one is sure to make Fredrick’s mission their own in saving the planet once again more from a catastrophe and destructive war.
