Rally Sport

Rally Sport is a racing game that was released worldwide in 1996. It is considered one of the superior racing titles of its time. The game can be played by one or two players at a time.
At the start of the game, the player is given a total of 8 cars to choose from for competing in the race. Options are available in various colors and models. There are also fifteen different choices of tracks, set in various terrain and weather conditions.
Each terrain has its own set of challenges, and the player needs to strategize accordingly. The tracks can be set in a grassy mountainous region, a marshland, or in snowy ice-clad terrain. The obstacles are in the form of water bodies or slippery slopes or even human beings. Crashing their car or falling into a ditch filled with water will slow down the player considerably, as the reset time could range several minutes. A player is allowed to go off track in whichever direction they want to, however, they might not be able to achieve the desired speed. Also, one must also be careful to not hit any of the spectators, which could lead to piercing screams and further slow down the vehicle. There are three gaming modes available; practice mode where the player can race alone without any opponents, Single player mode where a player can race against a computer-generated opponent, and Two-player mode where two players can race against each other through a split-screen feature. The goal is to complete the lap in minimum time. Rally Sport can be played with the Keyboard or Joystick.
