Description
Gunmetal (1998) is a first-person shooter and vehicular combat game developed and published by Mad Genius Software. It was released on August 28, 1998,
for both DOS and Windows platforms. The game is set 300 years in the future, where powerful corporations govern the world. You play as a newly recruited
security guard for the Nataka Corporation. The story quickly unfolds into a conflict against a rogue computer virus, known as the "Keller virus,"
originating from the Argus Industrial Corporation (Network 53). Your mission involves getting caught in this corporate war and ultimately destroying the virus.
It features 24 main levels, along with secret levels, deathmatch maps, and even an Easter egg minigame called "Gandhi Kong," which is a side-scrolling game
in the style of Donkey Kong. Between missions, you can access an upgrade area where you can buy, sell, and trade various weapons, ammunition, and vehicle
types using credits earned during missions (by salvaging destroyed enemy RPVs or receiving "good employee" bonuses).
