It is like the checkers where you have to put your ball on the opponent’s side
while the opponent is trying to do the same. Most of the concepts are the same.
However, there are many other additions in this game that were never introduced
before it. You can control the difficulty level while playing with the robot player.
Try to play at the hard level to get some competition from the computer.
This game has a normal 8 by 8 grid where you need to roll your ball
to the opponent’s side. The boxes can move your ball in any of the directions
as per the function of that specific box. Some boxes may transport your ball
to the other box or it may trap your ball for 1 or 2 turns. The different features
of these boxes have made this game popular among the gamers. Some boxes will make
your ball roll instead of landing on a base. The size of the ball also changes and
there are different types of balls available to each player.
There are 13 different types of bases that you can choose from. Another exciting
addition in this game is the spider that lay eggs on the board that can increase
the size of the ball.
Funball was introduced by the Impulse games in 1995 for the DOS platform.
However, you can play it on most of the operating systems with the help
of a simulator.
