The storyline of any game is an integral part of it. And when the storyline is a hit, the chances of the actual game to be liked are also more. With such a phenomenal story the game Eye of Horus was created. In the year 1989, the game was developed by Denton Designs. It was released by FanFare as a first person action gameplay. In the game Eye of Horus players play as the main character Horus. His aim throughout the game is to collect some items. The items more precisely are pieces of the body of his father Osiris who was an Egyptian God. Osiris was known as the God of transition, regeneration and resurrection. There was immense power to be formed to help horus if he can collect all the pieces. He would then use the powers to fight against the evil Set. The game effectively takes place in the inside of a Pyramid. The pieces of Osiris would be hidden in the labyrinth. The walls of the labyrinth had a lot of hieroglyphs of different animals and beasts. When Horus has to pass through the pyramid all of the hieroglyphs would come alive attempting to stop him from completing his tasks. The player is armed with a special papyrus darts that he can throw at enemies to neutralize them. Horus could also turn into a hawk and choose to fly over obstacles for a short period of time. There were a number of amulets lying around in the way that can be picked up for enhanced powers.
