Description
Battle Charge belongs to the abstract strategy/board game genre. Instead of controlling full armies with real-time graphics, the game plays out on a stylized grid. It heavily blends
the positioning rules of classic board games (similar to Othello/Reversi, Backgammon, or early tactical grid games like Assimilation) with a military or medieval conquest theme.
Players take turns moving pieces ("charging") across a board to capture, convert, or block enemy tiles.
Dominance over the grid. You win by either eliminating all of the opponent's pieces or occupying the majority of the board when no legal moves remain.
True to early 90s budget shareware, it utilizes basic EGA/VGA graphics, relying entirely on clean menu interfaces and pure, mathematical strategy rather than complex animations.
