Batman - The Caped Crusader

Batman needs no introduction to the world. He is the main character in the game Batman - The Caped Crusader which was released in the year 1988 by Oceans software. It was an action adventure game which had to be played in side view. Batman - The Caped Crusader had a unique interface as it had panels for each location Batman goes much like comic books. Inactive panels would be in the background and active panels in full view. The game had two different story modes to choose from. One of those modes would require Batman to ultimately have a faceoff with one of his arch rivals, the Penguin who is trying to take over the world with his robotic army as per the story line “A Bird in the Hand”. The other story had Batman going against the infamous Joker who kidnaps Robin according to the comic story “ A Fete Worse than Death”. Batman has to go through the stages and defeat Joker to free Robin. Along the way Batman would be asked to collect data from different places and solve puzzles as his supercomputer helps him. Solving the puzzles would enable him to go through to the next stages of the game until he finally encounters the main villains. The villain’s henchmen would try to create obstacles for Batman as he tries to go through the stages. During Batman The Caped Crusader game Batman can choose to fight them with kicks and punches. He can also throw a weapon that is unique only to him called the Batarang.
