Balance of power 1990
Balance of power 1990 is a game that is based on the original game by the same name. The game is a very powerful cold war simulation game. In the game, you use the military, industrial power and covert operation to help your country become a world power and to avoid a nuclear destructive war from occurring. The game was made by Chris Crawford, the original games creator to reflect a more updated situation and status of the world. Russia is falling, small countries have begun to come into their full power gaining more freedom as the Cold War is underway and the Iron Curtains are shattering.
This new version of Balance of power 1990, allows multipolar levels where the smaller countries are able to attack the neighboring countries by themselves. It is your job to form trade alliances, send military aid to your allied states and countries try to keep the peace while coming out at the top. This edition of the game has added 18 more countries totaling the number of countries to 80. Every decision you take and every situation you face is crucial. In the game you have advisors, but you should not trust them entirely. There is a lot of information about each of the countries and all these facts should be considered before making decisions. Depending on how you gain influence in the world as compared to your competitors, you will gain points. Ultimately if a nuclear war is started, both the parties will lose.
