The game Armor Alley is set in a war riddled zone. You are the fighter pilot that needs to get rid of the enemy. You get to see a profile view of your chopper and the terrain and have access to machine guns, bombs, and missiles to destroy your enemy. Use your ammunition sparingly and with strategy as you have limited supply.
Armor Alley also has the enemy attacking your vehicle using anti-aircraft air balloons. Apart from managing the chopper, you also have to manage a whole squadron. You get explosive vans, tanks engineers, and whole infantry units at the army base that needs protection from being destroyed by the enemy. Every unit and weapon costs you money and you only have so much.
The idea behind the game is simple and awesome at the same time. The strategy is to make sure you can outlast the enemy, thus conquering them. Armor Alley is the most fun when you play it in the two-player mode. You both need to have a great strategy and motor skills to get far in the competition. The graphics although very simple, it does not detract from the pacing of the game. The further you get in the game, the more gold you earn. This allows you to buy new equipment, choppers, etc. There are many more details and rules to the game that makes for a more complex and interesting gameplay.
