Alien Carnage - Halloween Harry

Alien Carnage is the sequel to Halloween Harry released in 1985, It was made by John Passfield for Microbee System, Although a sequel, it has almost nothing in similar to the original. The game has a side-to-side screen scrolling platform. As the title suggests, in this game the earth is threatened with annihilation by an alien invasion. It is 2030 and the aliens capture and make hostages of two humans and make them their slaves. The aliens threaten that they will take more hostages and turn them into zombies. Harry, the main protagonist is brought in and briefed on the situation from the space station Liberty. He is sent down to the earth to take down the aliens and has to take on human turned zombies and other hurdles to rescue humans that were kidnapped and being held hostage by the aliens. Alien Carnage has a number of levels to cross and weapons can be obtained at each level. The weapons tend to have a very limited quantity of ammo. Harry navigates four different areas: Sewers, Office blocks, factories and in the final stage an alien ship. Harry has to rescue the hostage on each of these levels. A few of the hostages are kept under the barrier of a wall that needs a switch to open. In all, there are 5 levels in each of the areas with the last one being the boss level.
