Set Yourself on Mystical Quests in Dragons and Dungeons

The game, Dungeons and Dragons online is a multiplayer RPG which is played online. Also known as DDO, the game was made for OS X and MS Windows. The plot of the game is set in a mysterious continent known as Cen’drik. The game features the setting of Eberron campaign in the region of Cormyr.

The setting up of plot of the game

The plot of the game is set in the town of Stormreach in the Xen’drik continent. The continent remains unexplored after its civilization was affected in the past. Stormreach is a large city which is inhabited by humans. Some of the areas of the town include a marketplace, harbor, and five houses with marks of the dragon- Jorasco, Phiarlan, Cannith, Kundarak, and Deneith. The adventures and mission take place throughout the continent.

The Story of DDO

The player creates his character in the game. The character of the game is found shipwrecked on the island of Korthos. The player gets assistance from the group of people who wish to end the reign of Sahuagin on the island of Korthos.

The white dragon, Aussurcaex, is commanded by a Mindflayer with the help of Mindsunder equipment. The Mindflayer is spreading plague on the island with the help of the dragon. When the player kills the Mindflayer, he can set the island free from the reign of Sahuagin. Once, the player has achieved success on the island; he is sent to the city of Stormreach.

The following events take place in the game.

The attempts of giants to gain dominion on the Stormreach town and the Xen’drik continent.

Opening of the Xoriat gate once again

The effort of the Black Abbot and his slaves to gain dominion on the continent of Xen’drik.

The demons of Shavarath set themselves on a quest to invade and gain control over Eberron.

The Pirates tries to gain control in the House of Deneith before conquering the city of stormreach

The army of Kobolds, gnolls, and Medusas, known as Droaam, tries to play games of war with the rulers of stormreach

The plane of bad dreams, Quori, enters into the minds of people and uses them as hosts.

The King of Blades undertakes the forge of Quori and attempts to erase all the living creatures.

The Mighty Toven tries to kill all the spirits of people who died in the war of Xen’drik.

Learning to play DDO

The dungeons and dragons is an action RPG which involves actual-time combat. The player can control the game via a gamepad or keyboard. The actions and items can be placed using the toolbar given on the screen. The movement of the characters is three-dimensional. The motion is performed with the help of directional keys. The characters can perform long-distance attacks. Moreover, the players can form groups via the grouping panel. The members of the group can interact with the help of the chat windows present on the screen or via voice chat.

The progress in the game can be measured by accomplishing the quests and going to the next levels. When the player creates a character, he is required to watch a tutorial and get quests from the NPCs. When the player has gathered a sufficient amount of points of experience, he enters into the next level. Along with this, the player gains access to skills, spells, and feats.

The game features 30 levels. All the modules of the game have areas and quests. The player earns points of experience by accomplishing the quests and not by killing the enemies. Moreover, the injury of the players does not heal automatically. Instead, the player needs to visit specific locations to get their injury treated.

The Quests in DDO

There are several quests in the game. The quests are classified based on the level of character, length, difficulty, and patron. All the searches possess an individual level as a base. If the characters are lacking the base level, they are not allowed to participate in a quest.

Most of the quests reward the character when he completes them successfully. Some of the rewards of the quests include spells which last long, the ability to unlock certain classes and races, and exclusive items. The master of the dungeon dictates the quests.

The game features six levels of difficulty.

Solo, Casual, Normal, Hard, Elite, Epic, Epic normal, Epic Hard, Epic elite

The game also features Sagas, which provide additional bonuses when the given quests are completed. There are six sagas, which consist of distinct bonuses, depends on the difficulty level of the saga.
