Hello everyone,
It seems only some of you have this problem. I have tried clean Win7 installation with IE, Firefox and Chrome and had no problem. It's also working with any .NET distribution >= 2.0. We can figure it out but I need you to check some things for me. I need to know following:
- Is this problem with all browsers ?
- Is possible that any security setting doesn't allow applets ?
- Have you tried both admin and user accounts ?
- Can someone look for a log file C:\Users\"Your username"\AppData\Roaming\AppClient\log-file.txt if there is present and if possible place it here or send to freegameempire_at_gmail_dot_com
Thank you.

I tried the applet with similar configuration and all worked fine. For Firefox, you need to have ".NET Framework Assistant" extension installed. Is possible this is causing the problem ?

I have checked all possible Windows versions and releases with IE and Firefox browsers, all worked for me. You may have some old version of IE or .NET framework. If you experience this problem, please send me an email to freegameempire_at_gmail_dot_com with Your installed version of Windows, .NET framework and IE or FIrefox. We will try to figure out Your problem.

That' s the thing though, when i go to play the game where it says "got it, now take me to the game already" it proceeds to download the emulator starter to my computer. After that's done i click on it, and it says "verifying application requirements" instead of setting it up, it just opens up this website again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but its the same thing. I'll try one more time again now.

Hi,
unfortunately that is not possible. You can either download the game and set it up on your own or you can use our emulator starter.
The emulator starter (that Play NOW button :)) is designed to work online only - it also allow us to put fixes into games that are not working or have some ugly issue such as you're not able to save the game after some time etc. and also fix the set-up system itself if there is any bug (there were about ten bugs found since we started this site - my coding skills are limited). I was thinking about improving the emulator starter to allow you play games offline - but as it would require a lot of effort (some kind of menu, sanity checks that the game is still there, pictures, descriptions, etc.) it won't be in near future. So I suggest you put the http://www.freegameempire.com/My-Games/ into your favourites and run it from there; you won't lose your saved games though - this can only happen if we're adding fix to game and we announce this trought our news.
HTH,
Andrew
